Yes. We are Mirumi's official home in the UK, direct from Yukai Engineering in Tokyo. Mirumi is sold in the UK at Harrods, Knightsbridge, and here. Nowhere else. Every one is genuine, with UK warranty and support.

No. Mirumi is not an AI-driven device and needs no app. It responds through simple sensors — sound sensors on each side of its body and a touch sensor on the back of its head — not artificial intelligence. There is nothing to set up and nothing to connect.

It notices you. Mirumi turns toward sounds, gets shy when you touch it, and nuzzles into a hand that pets it. It has no practical function — it does not track anything, hold anything or notify you of anything. Its only job is to be a little companion, and that is the point.

Mirumi is £149, in one size (about 14cm). It comes in three colourways — Pink, Ivory and Gray — each in its own softly dyed custom faux fur.

Mirumi is available at Harrods, Knightsbridge, and online direct from us here. Those are the only two places. We are the official UK distributor, and any other seller is an import, a reseller or a counterfeit.

Standard delivery is free on every order, with no minimum spend and no surcharge for any UK region. Express delivery is £7.95 if you would like it sooner, one to two working days rather than three to five. Both are tracked. Full details are in our Delivery policy.

No — Mirumi's custom faux fur prefers to stay dry. Keep it out of the rain, and clean it gently with a soft, dry brush.

Mirumi is designed for ages 15 and up. It is a fashion accessory rather than a toy, with small parts and delicate fur.

Every order is checked and packed by hand in London and dispatched within one working day. Standard delivery then takes three to five working days, or one to two if you choose express. We deliver within the UK only.

We deliver within the United Kingdom only. Mirumi is sold in other countries through Yukai Engineering's own stores and official partners — visit mirumi.tokyo to find the right one for where you are.

You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind. Return postage is yours — please send it back complete and unsoiled, as we may deduct for any reduction in value. If it is faulty, tell us within 30 days and we will refund you in full and cover the postage. Harrods purchases follow Harrods' own policy.
